Wild Carp Companies is proud to announce dates and locations for the 2011
Wild Carp Club season!
If you are interested in participating in the Wild Carp Club, please RSVP
with club directors Jason Bernhardt (jason@wildcarpcompanies.com)
or Sean Sauda (sean@wildcarpcompanies.com).
If you are unable to RSVP, all interested parties will still be accepted
on the day of each event, but we would prefer to know if you plan to attend
in advance for site planning purposes.

Scoring System
In the Wild Carp Club of Central of Central New York, points are awarded based
on the size of all Carp caught during the season. For Common Carp, 1 point
is awarded per ounce to determine score per fish. For Mirror Carp, 2 points
is awarded per ounce.
1 point/ounce for Common Carp
Common Carp are the most prevalent Carp genetic variation found in
Central New York.
Example
16 lb, 2 oz Common Carp
Weight converted to ounces = 258 ounces
The fish is worth 258 points
2 points/ounce for Mirror Carp
A Carp with a genetic variation (Mirror Carp) is worth more points.
Example
13 lb, 3 oz Mirror Carp
Weight converted to ounces = 211 ounces
211 oz X 2 pt bonus = 422
The fish is worth 422 points

Thank you to all the anglers that participated in the Spring 2011 season of the Wild Carp Club of Central New York. The fishing this season was a bit slow at times due to colder temperatures and high water levels, but everyone seemed to have a great time at each session.
Wild Carp Companies looks forward to hosting you all again for the 2011 Fall Wild Carp Club, which begins September 10, 2011. Please reach out to other anglers in the community who may be interested in joining us!
