2013 Lake Fork Carp & Buffalo Challenge
February 28 – March 3, 2013
Quitman, TX
Welcome to the 2nd annual Lake Fork Carp & Buffalo Challenge in Quitman, TX, presented by Wild Carp Companies and USCARPPRO magazine.
Lake Fork is home to Common and Mirror Carp that have been known to grow in excess of 35 lbs and Smallmouth Buffalo that are known to grow in excess of 65 lbs. This venue will prove to be an exciting challenge to all of our competitors as they strive to capture champion Carp and Smallmouth Buffalo.
Those looking to purchase bait products on-site—such as corn, range cubes, etc.—are encouraged contact Potts Feed Store (locations in Quitman and Emory) at least 3 weeks prior to the event.
Due to fallen timber and standing tree trunks, the Lake Fork Carp & Buffalo Challenge will be a real test to its competitors. Be prepared by researching Lake Fork at the Fishidy website. |

Registration
Wild Carp Companies has identified over 45 peg locations on Lake Fork, however, registration will be held at 40 teams until February. At that time, we will assess the water level at Lake Fork to determine if all identified pegs are still available for tournament use.
Teams wishing to compete but that have missed the cut-off of 40 teams may place their name on the waiting list by emailing jason@wildcarpcompanies.com.
Should current water levels remain the same or drop, we may make more than 40 pegs available. Extra registration will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to those on our waiting list.
Registration is $600 per two-person team.
Teams may reserve their entry with a non-refundable $200 deposit. Full payment must be made by January 31, 2013. Failure to complete registration payment by February 15 will render participants ineligible for the Lake Fork Carp & Buffalo Challenge and any deposits will be forfeited.
Anglers may register online via Paypal, send a check or money order by mail or contact Tournament Director Jason Bernhardt to arrange for a credit card payment by phone.
